Casey Anthony's Mom: I Searched for Chloroform on Computer
In what some are calling a blockbuster day in an Orlando court room, the mother of Casey Anthony took the stand to give shocking testimony regarding the much-discussed "chloroform" computer searches. "I looked up 'chloroform,'" said Cindy Anthony on Thursday, blowing out of the water what has been a large sticking point for much of the prosecution's case against Casey Anthony.
When asked if she looked up "how to make chloroform" 84 times in Google searches, however, Cindy Anthony said that she never looked up any such thing in such repetition. Anthony asserted that she originally looked up "chlorophyll" in the search engine but misspelled the word, which resulted in a Google prompt asking if she wanted to change the spelling of "chlorophyll" to "chloroform." Anthony also denied typing in searches for "self-defense," "household weapons," and "neck breaking.".
